Luxido was founded by Naledi Goottsch in 2016 as a mere project to gain an income additional to the allowance from her parents. What was a small success for her was seen as a great initiative by her community, who had been her strongest supporters. Years later, with a greater love for high heels and having gained more experience in the business world, Naledi re-branded her "hustle" into what it is today. Not only is she transforming Luxido into a brand of high-quality, fashion-forward footwear, but also an opportunity to introduce young entrepreneurs into a bigger network through her business events. Naledi's goals for 2024 include manufacturing her own branded footwear and accessories, to be part of communities by giving to charity through her profits, and to assist young people with the same dream and potential as she has.

"What drives me is the need to do more, and the people screaming 'You can!' reminds me that I must not stop here - I have much more to do than what we see now."
- Naledi Adaeze Goottsch
